My partner Hales also received the approval acknowledgement of his WPJA membership a few days ago, well done man! :)

We are the first Hong Kong wedding photography company who got TWO WPJA membership in a row! :P

Good news to share!

I would like to share a happy news with you that I just won a third prize in the Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) 2008 season one contest! Feeling soooooo good to have a competition with the top wedding photographers all over the world and... won a prize! This is also the first international photography prize I got so far, extremely happy for that! Hehe... :)

Thanks for Yoki & Stephen who hired us to be your wedding photographers, and thanks for your cute little nephew run out suddenly during the march-in and give me a chance to shoot this gorgeous picture! I love it! :)

這是我所遇過最特別的婚禮....

這個婚禮, 沒有佈置華麗的名貴房車, 有的只是平常我們花數十元就可以租借一整天的單車, 有的只是我們只需要花$2.2 就可以坐足全程的電車, 有的是我們只需要花費數枚硬幣就可以踏足的渡海輪.

在平常的婚禮拍攝中, 攝錄的同時為了不想由新娘子登上花車後的第一個畫面就是在男家樓下下車的景像, 所以普偏他們會在途中拍攝一些我們叫做”過場Shot” 的畫面. 一般來說一位攝影師以及一位錄影師, 就會坐在一輛私家車上, 在車上拍攝花車的情況, 或是花車由墜後到後來居上, 再到絕塵而去, 作為一個過場Shot之用, 這個我們通常叫作”追車”.

在這天的拍攝中, 我們這次還真的要親身上陣追車, 因為一對新人都是在沙田長大, 所以, 單車..這個富有沙田特式的交通工具就派上用場了, 這次我們改用 11號車, 追三輪單車, 還好路途不是很遠, 不然付責錄影的同事就慘了. 他跟我說: 嗄~嗄~~跑完斜路, 上氣不接下氣, 再立即要進行拍攝, 為了把攝錄機固定, 又要進行閉氣...嗄嗄~
嗯....証明你的心肺功能很不錯啦.....~

下午一對新人選擇了在穿著婚紗禮股在中區鬧市中遊電車河, 為了拍攝的效果, 這次我們改為..追電車...

我們由金鐘就開始追著前面的另一輛電車 (這次交給電車追了, 不再需要11號車....), 直到電車駛到天后, 攝製隊才趕得上登上前面的電車, 由車尾拍攝. 總算大功告成.

晚上他們在船上舉行婚宴, 還特設了婚宴的Dress code. 這也是之前比較少遇到的.
這天雖然比其它普通的禮婚拍攝工作來的辛苦, 換來一次比較特別的拍攝經驗, 倒也是很值得的!
